Thompson/Center has introduced the next level of accuracy in the ICON Bolt Action line with the ICON® Precision Hunter™... a premium built medium action varmint and predator rifle.

Certified to deliver sub-minute of angle accuracy right out of the box, the ICON Precision Hunter features the Interlock Bedding System along with a match-grade barrel with 5R Rifling.

Whether at the range or in the field, the ICON Precision Hunter embodies all of the aspects of a dependable long-range hunting firearm and the perfect target rifle. From its solid machined receiver to its heavy fluted barrel, the ICON Precision Hunter is a breed apart.

Standard with a laminated hardwood stock with cheek piece and comb and beavertail forend, the ICON Precision Hunter also features an integral base for Picatinny style scope bases. The trigger is externally adjustable between 3.5 and 5lbs of pull with minimal creep and overtravel. Factory tool is provided for adjustments.

The independent Bolt-lock allows for easy loading and unloading with the safety on. The ICON Precision Hunter’s Switchbolt design provides the flexibility to change out the bolt handle with other bolt handle styles to customize the desired feel for each individual shooter. To meet the demands of varmint hunters shooting hundreds of rounds a day, the ICON Precision Hunter employs Thompson/Center’s new Convection Enhancement System engineered to disperse heat from the barrel and forend.

The ported cooling channels in the forend draw cooler air up and around the largest part of the barrel enabling maximum air circulation for cooling and consistent accuracy.
