The crowning jewel in the ICON family of bolt action rifles is the ICON® Warlord™. With superior accuracy and custom shop quality, the Warlord is equally superior on the range or as a tactical sniper rifle. Using T/C’s Foundation for Accuracy and a hand-lapped, stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling, Warlord is certified ½ MOA which is three shots in a ½ inch group at 100 yards. The certified target ships with each Warlord.
Foundation for Accuracy- Warlord’s Receiver is CNC-machined from solid-bar stock steel. The action features a full-length Picatinny dimensioned scope rail machined into the receiver top adding strength and helping to stiffen the already stout action. Recoil lugs on the bottom of the receiver interlock with the aluminum-bedding block epoxied rigidly into the stock. The flat-bottom receiver and aluminum-bedding block provide a stable foundation.

The Warlord: Thompson/Center’s first-ever bolt action has now reached a peak of accuracy and tactical sophistication.
Only four years have passed since the unveiling of Thompson/Center’s first bolt action, the Icon. After a century and a quarter of development, there is very little genuinely new about a turnbolt action. Certainly, this applies to the Icon, but T/C was able to utilize its expertise in close-tolerance machining to create a rigid, accuracy-enhancing action, and T/C was able to tap into, if not 125 years of development, at least recent developments in determining the features shooters were looking for..
