SOLID STEEL RECEIVER. The R-55 Benchmark has a solid steel receiver with an 18" heavy target barrel threaded into the receiver. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept a Weaver style or all-steel Maxima scope base. The short 18" target barrel provides the optimum balance and stiffness that is required in precision target rifles.

THE RICH BROWN LAMINATED STOCK gives the R-55 Benchmark the added stability needed for unsurpassed accuracy. The high comb and tastefully scalloped cheek piece aligns the shooter’s eye with the scope and the broad sculpted forend is perfect for shooting off the bench.
