All kills were one shot and all animals dropped in there tracks making it and easy retrieve.

The loads I used were my own hand loads with Accubond 180 grain in the 300 and 140 grain in the 280

The 300 Win Mag barrel is topped with Burris 3X9 BDC scope with one piece Leopold base and twist lock rings
the 280 is topped with a Nikon 3X9 BDC scope with the same rings and bases.

This set up seems to be the best combination to stand up to the beating from air travel to horse back with out
changing.

I will be returning to So. Africa next year and plan on adding a 416 and maybe a 375 H&H to the travel kit.
