This last Christmas I was surprised to receive my first Thompson/Center Encore. I have wanted one since the first time I saw it. I had shot my father's on many occasions and I just loved the way it looked and felt.

Day after Christmas I went and sited it in, and two days later we went coyote hunting. I have never killed a Coyote, I have had chances but none had panned out.

We arrived at our hunting spot just as it was getting light enough to see. We left the truck to see if we could call some in. We were only about 150 yards from the truck when this coyote was spotted at about three hundred yards out and trotting away from us.

I just sat down, got the gun on a solid rest and waited for him to stop. The picture says the rest. This is the best handling gun I have ever had and absolutley love it.
