This Oryx was taken on the 7th day of an 11 day hunt in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It measured 37 1/2 inches. A really old bull. I shot it at about 150 yards using handloaded 225 Swift A-Frame bullets.

This area of South Africa is a great place to hunt. The abundance of trophy game animals is astounding. Excellent accommodations and staff. The hunting staff (trackers and Professional Hunters)were extremely diligent in their hunting practices and ethics.
