While calling in Feb. 09 this 50 lb Song dog shows up with a buddy at 434 yards.(measured with range finder) His body was in brush but his head was in the clear. I steadied the Encore with hand loaded 40 gr. bullet and coming out of the barrel at 4100+ f.p. s. and nailed the dog just below the left eye. His beautiful pelt is now on my trophy wall.
