It started as a long hunting season. Hunted all through the normal season then came late buck. I hunted all day Saturday from dawn to dusk and only saw a two point but I was not going to settle with that so we just moved on.

I came home and hunted behind the house for a few hours then came home and got warmed up. As I was sitting in the easy chair I saw a deer in the front field, so I checked it out. It was a buck. I looked again, it was a 3x3 my biggest buck ever.

I was so proud of myself because I did it on my own. There was no one to tell me what to do. I had to put all of the stuff I had learned to use. I shot and missed. I reloaded and shot again as it was jumping the fence and dropped him at 150 yds. I was very proud of myself!
