I harvested my first Moose in Victoria Lake NFLD with Cal's Hunting and Fishing Sept 17 2009.

I had a 250 yrd shot with my Thompson Center Pro Hunter Encore 300 Win Mag. One shot was all it took. My guide was sold and plans on purchasing his own T/C.

The only trouble was I had to back pack my Moose out three miles, making two separate trips. This gave me an even greater feeling of accomplishment. We returned to the camp to show the other hunters and guides the video and pictures of our success.

Everyone was impressed by the T/C Pro Hunter and determined it was a definite must have.

Thanks for my one and only rifle. Next year will be with a new Muzzleloader barrel. See you in the field.
