Well the good lord blessed me with another great Kentucky buck this year.

I was fortunate enough to get the harvest on video and with plenty of shooting light left this year! This is definately one of the best bucks I\'ve shot here at the farm. I had several encounters with this buck and I never had him come within bow range. That was until this evening, the first day of the KY early muzzleloader season!

Of course when I carry the muzzleloader they will often come within bow range, that\'s ok with me though! Pretty sure this was a 5 1/2 year old and he was very high on my hit list. Couldn\'t have been happier to get him!!!

Not exactly sure what he scores yet, but I think he\'ll gross in the low 160\'s? First buck for me that is over 20\" inside spread. Hope this is a start of a wonderful season for me, I\'ve got 3 or 4 buck tags left to fill!
