Me and my dad were walking and glanced over to our right and saw the back side of the deer. After looking in the binoculars and seeing that it was a pretty nice buck we crept up the road alittle more to get a clear shot.
After trying many positions to get comfortable I looked through the scope and waited for him to turn broadside, when he turned I slowly squeazed and blasted him. He jumped, walked back about 10 feet and collapsed.
I was pumped up after shooting my first buck with a Thompson Center Encore 7mm rifle.
