Hunted with my son on the side of Parker Mountain in Strafford, NH

Hunted all day in a ground blind when this buck appeared I shot with my T/C Thunderhawk, 50 yards in the right chest.

Shot him at 4pm in the afternoon, looked for him til dark. I couldn't find him. Went out at first light to go back out and track him. Dropped down off the mountain and trailed him for 2-3 hours lost the trail and almost gave up. I found him at 10:30am about half mile from where I shot him, a 9pt buck 180lbs.

I used to hunt with a T/C Hawken but now hunt with the Thunderhawk, had it for 5 years. I love that muzzleloader.
