Hi folks
I shot this buck last Thursday (Nov 12th) . He weighed 212 lbs and had 9 points. I am not sure of how the rack will score but I believe the mass may up the score some.

He was responding to a sequence of light rattling and grunting. He came for over 300 yards from a bedding area I was hunting near. Very exciting, hearing him walk in 18” of water for the whole way in. Since we have moose here in Maine, I actually was looking for something tall dark and ugly when I first heard him coming. He literally sounded like a moose!

He finally came down one of the five swale trails and was looking hard for the source of the calling. I shot him with my new 300 win mag stainless Encore at 45 yards.
