It took 7yrs to draw my muzzleloader antelope tag. With only 2 days available to hunt I told my wife I was going to take the first buck I could get close to.

On opening day we hunted an area where we had seen several good bucks throughout the summer and early fall.

The morning passed without us seeing any antelope. We sat and ate lunch and decided to move to another area where we had seen antelope in the past.

After a couple of hours of glassing and hiking, we stumbled across a fine buck and a few does. A quick click of the rangefinder and my Thompson Omega came to life.
