This was the first whitetail I shot. I took it on Family land in Jane Lew, WV. I know it is not the trophy that you usually see but to me it might as well have been a 12 pointer.

I was hunting with my husband and shot this 3 point at 35 yards from the ground. It weighed 165 lbs.

My husband had bought me a compact bolt action rifle for my first deer rifle. I never felt comfortable with it and then I picked up the Pro-Hunter and it gave me total control and great comfort.

Everyone that is looking for a gun for their wife/girlfriend or children should look into the Encore family of rifles.This deer came out at 35yards and gave me a quartering away shot.

One shot took out both lungs and a small piece of the spinal cord, it dropped it its tracks. I am shooting a 120 grain Nosler ballistic tip hand loaded ammo.
