We were Moose hunting in Northern N.H. in Oct. of 2008, we were on our second day of the Moose hunt Oct. 19th we had driven about 8 miles into the back country.

It was a very frosty morning and conditions were very favorable. As we were scanning a cutover fairly high up in the mountains, we saw this nice Bull within 50 yards.

It was Rae’s first time, as the moose started to move in our direction she raised her custom built Encore .257 Roberts A.I. Taking careful aim , she fired the fatal shot hitting the bull squarely in the chest. The Bull weighed in at 680 lbs. field dressed and had a 45 inch spread with 11 points. It was the picture perfect day with a great trophy.
