50 Caliber

While Hunting for deer during opening day of muzzleloader season (9 Jan 2010), I was sitting on a hillside. I heard something off to my right, and much to my surprise a Coyote was approaching.

When it stopped, at about 40 yards, I took the shot. He was facing me with his head up. I put the 300 grain shockwave bullet charge with two 50 grain pellets through his front shoulder. He dropped and I have a nice pick up on a cold wintery day.
