As you can see this deer is no big trophy but the story is about a muzzle loading rifle.

I have been hunting for over 25 years with muzzleloaders. My first T/C was a Renegade that I got over 20 years ago and it still shoots as good as it did then. I have inlines with scopes but as you can see in this photo I have gone back in time. The muzzleloader in this photo is my Thompson/Center Hawken flint lock 50 cal with a T/C round ball barrel.

This deer was shot at 60yds I have taken deer with this rifle from over 90yds. I want to close by telling T/C thank you for years of quality muzzleloaders and the best hunts we hunters can have. And for the T/C hunters and hunters reading this, Hunt right hunt with T/C.
