My guide and I Stalked this 10ft gator through waist deep water. We couldn’t get close enough and stay dry at the same time so we jumped in. About 200 yards away from him, he spotted us and submerged under the water. We watched a trail of bubbles head our way as we headed his way.

At 20 yards I could see him submerged barely below the surface of the water and at 13 I could see the wake in the water from his eyebrows just below the surface, he was coming right at us.

I pulled the trigger and the shot went through the surface of the water and hit him right between the eyes, again my T/C and I put the bullet right where it needed to be.

An Asian water buffalo (muzzleloader 1 shot), caribou, deer, a plethora of hogs and now a gator have fallen to my 2 T/C's. I don’t see any need to get another hunting rifle (unless a left handed bolt action T/C comes out).
