I picked up a TC Encore to hopefully increase my odds at getting drawn. That was 5 years ago.

Finally this year I got a tag (AZ - 2B). Preseason scouting was discouraging...only spotted a couple decent bucks. Apparently, the 20 who had tags had their sights set on this boy as well.

He was running with 19 does/fawns which made stalks challenging. Either they'd bust me or another hunter, then high tail it into the next valley. 7 days of this finally ended with a 140 yard shot at the end of the day and put him down with a 295 gr sabot.
