After being drawn in our Elk lottery for the 2010 youth hunt I had no idea what type of weapon or caliber to get for my 11 year old daughter to use.

We settled on the 7mm-08 and was offered the loan of a T/C Encore. Being unfamiliar with the caliber and weapon I decided to try it. The weapon fit her small frame very well. On the first day of the hunt she took this nice 6x7 bull.
