It was the last morning of the season. It was very cold and I was tired and sore. I made my way down to a lake side where there were a lot of moose tracks. I chambered one up for the wait.
I suppose I wasn't as quiet as I'd thought. I don't know how a giant like this did it but he snuck up 35' behind me and tore up a spruce tree challenging me! I just about jumped into the lake! I sat dead still though lest he decide to skewer and pulverize me.
Sizing him up for legal was a real chore with adrenaline using my veins for an autobahn. As I paralleled him through the trees, he walked around the end of the lake and gave me the look I needed. I slipped the safety forward and let the Icon do it's thing.
Let's just say that the big old ungulate didn't have the heart to take off. I love my Icon. Thanks T/C, the freezer's full again!
