I took this beautiful bear this spring at my bear hunting treestand. I was baiting, got several pics of other bears but they were not coming to my bait site while I was there. Then a mid-sized black one came in but I decided to hold out for a bigger one. I knew there were bigger ones in the area from what I saw on last years trail cam pic's.

Then one evening this one came to the bait then took off and the black one came in. There were no more bears till the next evening. First this one came and hung around for awhile, I still wanted a bigger one. Then the black came and scared this one off, both were close to the same size. The black hung out for awhile then left and a few minutes later this brown bear came back, I decided I would take him as I had to get back to work in a day or two. He should have measured at beteween 5 or 6 ft I'm not sure how much the skull will measure out to.

I took this bear with my 50 caliber TC BONE COLLECTER MUZZLELOADER. My first animal with a muzzleloader. I've taken animal's with my compound Bow and centrefire rifles in the past.

This one and a couple other colored bears were on the site all at the same time last year on the trail cam pic's. I can hardly wait till next spring's bear hunt.
