T/C Hawken rifle
.50

I took my first deer with a T/C Hawken in 1983 and I've been doing it ever since. Here is a doe I took during the 2010 WI deer season.

I had only a small window through the brush to shoot. I held the rifle steady and squeezed the trigger. The patched round ball found it's mark sixty five yards away. The ball went through both shoulders and took out the boiler maker in between. The deer only went about twenty yards and piled up.

I'm always impressed with the T/C Hawken's accuracy and killing power. While other's I hunt with use modern day rifles, the T/C Hawken rifle is by far my choice for deer hunting, I just love it. In the twenty seven years that I've participated in this great sport of deer hunting the "HAWKEN" has supplied many a fine venison meal for my family and me.

Thank You Thompson./Center for a fine product.
