It all happened on November 20, 2010, which coincidentally happens to be my son's 12th birthday.
So that morning we went out on the stand. Sat for three hours, he got bored so we went home. That afternoon I told him I was going out and he said there were no deer out there.
The area we hunt is my friends 650 acre produce farm. There are plenty of deer! So I went out, sat in my stand for an hour and a doe came out into a pumpkin field. I watched the doe and then came along this 8 point buck and I harvested him. I was absolutely amazed with the 30 T/C caliber my shot was 175 yards and the deer didn't know what hit him.
I would also like to say that my Dad has been a T/C enthusiast and collector since 1968. When the grandchildren turn 11 he buys them a T/C Encore in .243 . It is safe to say that this family is into T/C, it is a great product.
Thank you Mike Morin
