I was in a treestand opening day of my first hunt (age 11) with my dad, when a doe came through. As I was trying to get a steady shot on the doe, a buck came over the hill in the hardwoods hot on her trail.

One shot 35-40 yards, perfect heart shot for my first buck!! Now the Contender is mine.
