2010 Arizona bull elk. 340 grain Dead Center sabot. I've really grown to love this rifle. You can configure it so many ways and it is very accurate. We saw lot's of bulls on this trip but I just couldn't close the deal on a big one. Took this spike to fill the freezer in the last hour of the last day of our hunt. A small group of elk came into a water hole where I had set-up a ground blind. He went down very quickly after a solid double lung shot. The TC Encore muzzleloader really does a number on elk. I'll try it on other western big game as soon as I can draw more permits!
