This is my hunting partner Steve's Pronghorn from a doe hunt in central New Mexico.

Steve was carrying his father's old Mauser with iron sights and the Pronghorn were not cooperating and he would not shoot further then 150 yards with that rifle's sights.

When it was obvious that he could get no closer, I gave Steve my Encore and he was able to make the 250 yard shot on this nice doe. It was his first shot at game with an Encore.
