I couldn't sleep on this full moon but slightly cloudy January night. I got up went to the back door to look outside toward the big field with the moon being full, I saw movement on the snow covered rolling hill hayfield, grabbed a nearby pair of binoculars and was excited to see a large coyote.

It took me a few minutes to get set up but my Encore was on standby in the garage, I had been poking crows earlier. I have a shooting bench just outside the back garage door. I got into position but the coyote had moved on so I hurriedly got a preditor call and gave a couple soft calls, within 30 seconds I saw the coyote coming back in. At about 150yds he stopped and turned broadside, the moon light was enough to allow me to center the cross hairs, they were hard to see, I had to check them several times but finally I was sure.

That .204 Ruger bullet would find its mark. The photo tells the rest of the story.

Thanks T/C for great firearms.
