After passing on smaller bucks all season, after 28 weekends hunting southern Ohio public land thinking everything had been pushed around and pushed out with hunting pressure. With a never give up attitude I took to the woods for one last hunt for primitive weapon. This year was unseasonably cold I sat on a stand, to my surprise two bucks came cantering down a small rise, coming to me like pulling a rope at 40 yrds. I let her go and down in front of me was my biggest buck to date.
