I don't usually promote products, but I'll make an exception here. I own two T/C Hawkins (.50 and .54) and have hunted with them successfully since the 1980s. I bought the Triumph the year before last for a change of pace.

This respectable 10-point is my first with the new rifle with scope. Honestly, it was almost too easy. I used a Powerbelt 295 gr. @ 100+ yards in relatively dense cover and with practically no shooting light left. I wouldn't have attempted it with the traditional Hawken.
