I baited in this bear on my wife's grandpa's land and took it with one 60-yard shot through the lungs with ammo I'd loaded myself (father-in-law's recipe).

Glad to have the hide at all after trusting a taxidermist to send it off to a tannery in Montana.

After three months of run around with all involved, including UPS, my hide mysteriously was found after they learned I'd contacted the local investigative television team to look into this for me!

Awaiting a record measurement of the skull and looking forward to completing the life-size mount myself. The hunt is always good and the storytelling afterward adds to the enjoyment. Best wishes to all for memorable moments in the outdoors with your Thompson/Center Arms!
