I find myself reaching for the Encore more and more each season because of its versitility and accuracy. Last years Javelina hunt was what is becoming the rule to my hunting when I decided to use the Encore for my Javelina hunt. I decided on the 22-250 pistol barrel just in case the little guys decided to keep their distance, it turned out that I did not need a caliber capable of long distance when I took a five yard shot on this Javelina. It is not my biggest but I will never forget taking her with my favorite gun.
